The Labrador Chart

Written and accurate as at: Nov 01, 2013 Current Stats & Facts

After you have completed the Money Personality quiz, a chart pops up with two bars for each animal.

To help you understand what the chart is reporting, below is a brief explanation of what the two bars represent for the Labrador.

The top bar is looking at how a person prefers to collect information, or “perceive”.

There are two core preferences for “perceiving” being considered here. The first is a preference to collect facts and details. The second is a preference to perceive patterns and connections.

The Labrador is more oriented to the first preference for perceiving. That is, a preference for perceiving facts and details, real and tangible things, in one’s environment.

The bottom bar is looking at how a person prefers to manage themselves and their environment.

There are two core preferences for “managing” being considered here. The first is a preference to be orderly and structured. The second is a preference to be flexible and spontaneous.

The Labrador is more oriented to the first preference for “managing”. That is, a preference for being organised, orderly and structured. In some ways, it is this preference which makes them great at executing plans and strategies.

Each preference alone is interesting, however, by combining the two preferences we start to see the Labrador preferences.

Something that is interesting on the chart to the right is the bottom Dolphin bar. Notice how it is longer than the rest. This does not mean that Dolphin is the primary preference. It actually means that the attribute represented by this bar will be the style that this person uses, within their primary Labrador preference. The article on the Dolphin bars will help you understand what this bar means.

Keep in mind that the questionaire doesn't know you better than you do, so feel free to dismiss the reported animal type if you do not believe it depicts your preferences.
